Karolina Aragon, a polyglot physician in her thirties, recently joined the I-Motion team.
Where do you come from and when did you arrive at the I-Motion Institute?
I arrived in December 2016 from Poland. At the end of my medical studies in 2010, I spent a few years in my country, then I came to specialise in neurology in Paris.
Why I-Motion?
The Polish foundation, created by families of SMA patients (Fundacja SMA), was in contact with Laurent Servais and put us in touch. For my part, I was already interested in neuromuscular diseases and welcomed an internship!
What do you do at I-Motion?
I participate in consultations as part of the neuromuscular consultation, as well as in I-Motion trials. I also participate in the organisation of the treatment of SMA patients with nusinersen and the collection of clinical data from these patients.
