The NSAA (NorthStar Ambulatory Assessment) test was developed specifically for ambulant patients with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
The child is asked to do various tasks: getting up from the ground, running, jumping, etc. DMD patients use common and recognizable adaptations in order to achieve the desired function with slight modifications.
