GMFM
The Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM) is an assessment tool designed to measure changes in gross motor function over time, or following the intervention, in children with central neuromotor impairment.
The items (88 or 66 items, each scored from 0 to 3 or “not tested”) cover the spectrum of gross motor activities such as sitting, crawling, kneeling, walking, running, jumping. The total score is expressed as a percentage of the maximum possible score.
