Flagship research projects

Our flagship research projects

These projects were submitted as part of a call for proposals in late December 2024 and reviewed by an international scientific committee to meet the ambitions of our future Foundation of Myology (“Fondation de Myologie”).

In September 2025, 13 outstanding projects were selected from the roughly 30 projects submitted.
Of these, 11 research projects will be supported for up to 7 years and two exploratory projects for 12 months.

These muscle research projects explore a wide range of themes aimed at better understanding how muscle works, the diseases that affect it and the associated therapeutic prospects. They draw on cutting-edge technologies and innovative methodologies that accelerate scientific discovery and help advance knowledge of muscle.
