Brings together physiotherapy and psychology activities, covering patient care as well as evaluations, clinical research and projects to produce recommendations or patient information
Myocare
Within the Institute of Myology, the Myocare division is tasked with developing and structuring several complementary areas of activity: clinical evaluation, clinical research, the production of recommendations and the training of healthcare professionals.
Myocare brings together a multidisciplinary team that includes physiotherapists, psychologists, neuromuscular disease specialists and functional evaluation experts.
Its aim is to support, within a harmonised framework based on best practice, the clinical trials run by the I-Motion Pediatric and I-Motion Adults platforms.
In this context, Myocare structures and develops training pathways that incorporate the latest scientific advances, aimed at healthcare professionals involved in neuromuscular evaluations, rehabilitation or patient support.
The department also contributes to developing and disseminating practical recommendations, promoting greater consistency of methods and continuous improvement in the quality of evaluations.
Finally, Myocare aims to explore new research topics (sedentary behaviour and muscle, for example) within the Institute by developing partnerships with institutional, academic, public and private stakeholders. The purpose is to broaden our areas of expertise, encourage innovation in our methods and strengthen the scientific and clinical impact of the projects carried out within the Institute.
