LGMD Awareness Day: 30 September

The 11th Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Day takes place on 30 September.

Organised by the LGMD Awareness Foundation, the aim of this day is to draw attention each year to this group of rare neuromuscular diseases that have an impact on the lives of many people, children and adults alike, in every region of the world.

At the Institute, 3 trials are currently underway: an international study on the clinical criteria for the progression of LGMD, and two phase I-II studies.
