GenoTher Summit 2025, the first symposium organised by the GenoTher biocluster, was held on 11 June 2025 at the Génocentre in Évry-Courcouronnes. It brought together more than 350 key players in the gene therapy ecosystem for a day of scientific exchange and strategic reflection.
More than 20 international experts from France, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy and Germany presented the latest developments in gene therapy – from cutting-edge research to clinical innovation, with a particular focus on advances in biomanufacturing.
GenoTher is the 1st European biocluster exclusively dedicated to gene therapy. It offers a unique ecosystem for innovating, accelerating development, training and commercialising gene therapy.
Leading a Work Package on innovative tools for clinical applications in neuromuscular diseases, the Institut de Myologie took part in the discussions with a presentation by Fabrice Chrétien on the strategic role of medical data in clinical development. The Institute was also present in the GenoTher technology platform village, an exhibition area where each Work Package presented its objectives and organisation in the form of a poster.
Several of the Institute’s entities are involved in this biocluster:
- the MyoData platform will develop the first French health data warehouse in the field of muscle and neuromuscular diseases
- the Physiology and Neuromuscular Evaluation laboratory will design and develop new devices and methods to improve patient monitoring during therapeutic trials
- the NMR and Morphology laboratories will develop innovative tools and biomarkers for diagnosing, monitoring and understanding muscle diseases
