MyoLine provides immortalised lines of myoblasts and fibroblasts converted into muscle cells. The use of these human cells isolated from patients is of particular interest because they carry the patient’s exact mutation in its own genetic environment.
For several years, these cell lines have been made available to the scientific community on a collaborative basis, and many international laboratories are already using them. Our efforts are aimed at encouraging and facilitating research into neuromuscular diseases and the development of therapeutic strategies.
By 2022, MyoLine had immortalised 5 new muscle cell lines, transferred 248 vials of cells to academic and private teams in France and abroad, and co-authored 16 publications.
