Crossing perspectives of I-Motion Adults clinical trial platform and its challenges

Adults I-Motion is a platform of excellence for clinical trials, serving research into treatments for neuromuscular diseases.

Adults I-Motion was created in July 2019 on the model of the Paediatric I-Motion clinical trial platform at Trousseau Hospital. An integral part of the Institute of Myology, the platform works in synergy with all the services and laboratories of the institute, thus benefiting from their medical and scientific expertise on muscle. Thanks to Adults I-Motion, the Institute of Myology structures clinical trials on neuromuscular diseases in adults at the level of excellence required by sponsors: an essential prerequisite that reflects the high level multidisciplinarity of the Institute of Myology.

Crossing perspectives of the platform:  Dr Giorgia Quérin ((Neurologist, Coordinating doctor of Adults I-Motion platform), Kubéraka Mariampillai (Project manager) and Pr Olivier Benveniste (Head of the Inflammatory Myopathies team at the institute’s Myology Centre for Research), platform user.
