Myobank-AFM ’s quality certification is renewed for 3 years

Myobank-AFM, the Research Tissue Bank of the Institute of Myology, is a non-profit service involved in the collection, preparation, storage and distribution of human tissue samples, primarily from people with neuromuscular or rare diseases but also healthy subjects. This center of biological resources is intended for the exclusive use of research and this, in respect of the fundamental rights of the human person. 

An audit conducted by AFNOR Certification carried out in November 2021 has just certified Myobank-AFM for the next three years according to the Quality standard for biological resource centers. 

The management system put in place by the Institute of Myology for the collection, reception, preparation, conservation and provision of biological resources has in fact been deemed to comply with the requirements of standard NF S 96-900.
