The work of two researchers from the Institute awarded at the WMS


Two researchers from the institute were awarded prizes for their work at the WMS 2022 conference held in Halifax, Canada, and online from 11 to 15 October 2022. They received the Elsevier Subscription Prize:

Harmen Reyngoult, co-team leader of NMR Laboratory – Spectroscopy Laboratory in the Neuromuscular Investigation Center, was awarded the prize for his Selected Flash poster: Clinical outcome study of dysferlinopathy: correlation between MRI fat fraction in lower limbs and clinical outcome assessments over a 3 year period. (Thursday 13th, October LGMD session)

 

Amélie Vergnol, PhD student in the Gene Therapy for DMD & Skeletal Muscle Pathophysiology Group led by France Pietri-Rouxel in the Myology Centre for Research, was awarded the prize for her poster: Exploring the role of MuscleBlind-Like proteins in the regulation of CaVB1 isoform expression in adult skeletal muscle. (Friday 14th, October Myotonic Dystrophy session)
