The 2026 Conference and Muscle Week

Muscle Week 2026 returns from 1 to 7 June. The aim is to continue raising public awareness of the importance of maintaining healthy muscles. To reinforce this awareness and promote muscle health in public policy, the Institute of Myology and AFM-Telethon invite you to the 4th Muscle Week, from 1 to 7 June, and the 2nd Muscle Conference on 2 June at the Ministry of Health.

Through information, events and activities for the general public, laboratory open days, conferences and more, the 4th edition of Muscle Week will engage the general public on a national scale. This is the unmissable event to learn more about our muscles and their role in our health, discover scientific advances and understand how muscle health affects us all, at every stage of life, and therefore the importance of preserving our muscle mass throughout our lives.

Spotlight on the 2026 Muscle Conference: Muscle throughout life

On Tuesday 2 June, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm, the 2026 Muscle Conference, to be held at the Ministry of Health, will seek to answer this question: why and, above all, how should we act today to place good muscular health at the heart of our public policies?

Experts from a wide range of fields will come together for three round-table discussions to debate the issue:

  • Muscle, from before birth to the end of adolescence… an asset for life
  • An active life… not so active! Maintaining and developing muscle mass
  • Advanced age, a health and societal challenge: preserving muscle mass and the challenges of muscle reconditioning

Event by invitation only. If you would like to attend, please email us at contact@institut-myologie.org, with the subject line ‘Invitation to the Muscle Conference’, your request and your full contact details.
