For the 3rd year running, the European Commission has awarded the highly prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) grant to two post-doctoral researchers from the Institute of Myology.
Chiara D’Ercole and Pierre Klein applied for and won this highly competitive grant with the support of the Institute’s Grants Office [link]. This highly valued fellowship for young researchers is aimed at PhD graduates wishing to carry out research abroad, improve their skills and develop their careers. It covers salary and research-related expenses, facilitating activities such as training and networking, with an emphasis on mobility and collaboration.
MSCA fellowships fund excellence in research and innovation and give researchers at all stages of their careers new knowledge and skills through cross-border mobility and exposure to different sectors and disciplines. These actions help to strengthen Europe’s research and innovation capacity by investing in the long-term careers of talented researchers.
This year, the European Commission awarded a total of €417 million to 1,696 post-doctoral researchers, including 160 projects in France in all fields.
The MSCA grants that researchers from the Institute have been awarded in recent years for their various projects* contribute to the Institute’s reputation and recognition of its level of scientific excellence.
