‘Fête de la Science’ – October 10th to 13th

From October 10th to 13th, we will celebrate ‘Fête de la science’, a science festival taking place in different French regions and organizations all around the country.

On this special thematic week, researchers supported by AFM-Téléthon offer to share live discussions around research topics, directly from their labs. This event aims to better understand scientific concepts and therapeutic progress.

This “science week” will start on October 10th, with a live broadcast (in French) from the Institute of Myology. Pr Fabrice Chrétien, Director of the Neuromuscular Investigation Center (NIC), will take you on a tour of his laboratories dedicated to the study and development of knowledge around “muscle”. We will be able to meet researchers from the Institute of Myology who will explain their activities and challenges.

An event not to be missed! Participate to this visit online by connecting on AFM-Telethon Youtube channel.
Register before on AFM-Telethon Facebook page to be notified of the event.

From 11th to 13th of November, two virtual “Apéro at the lab” (in French) will take place each evening at 6.30 pm.

On the agenda: neonatal screening, the superpowers of mitochondria, artificial intelligence for the discovery of new drugs, gene therapy: from rare to frequent diseases, mini-organs that are revolutionising research and exoskeletons.
