Prof. Fardeau, founder of the Institute of Myology and its first Scientific and Medical Director, will receive the Academy’s highest honour, the Grand Medal, during the formal awards ceremony on December 15. Prof. Fardeau’s career will be highlighted during the ceremony.
The Grand Medal is intended to honour a physician or researcher who has made “remarkable and decisive” contributions to his/her field.
