The 10th International Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Day will take place on 30 September.
Organised by the LGMD Awareness Foundation, the aim of this day is to draw attention each year to this group of rare neuromuscular diseases that have an impact on the lives of many people, children and adults alike, in every region of the world.
At the Institute, 3 trials are currently underway: the natural histories of different LGMDs, and a phase 1-2 multicentre study in limb-girdle muscular dystrophy linked to the FKRP gene.
