A remarkable result as the AFM-Telethon prepares to meet new challenges for 2013.The final amount donated to Telethon 2012 attained 88,156,400 euros. This outstanding result exceeds by 7 million euros, the pledges made at the end of 30 hours of broadcast on France Televisions.

Thanks to this AUDACIOUS France, researchers from the Telethon laboratories will continue to invent new therapies, essential to cure rare diseases and useful to medicine as a whole. In 2013, the AFM-Telethon can thus tackle new CHALLENGES: launch new trials and become the first patient association to produce gene therapy medicines through its Genethon laboratory.
