Faithful to the Telethon and extremely generous, Garou wants to stand by the Generation Telethon for this 30th outstanding edition of the Telethon.
The ambassador of all Telethon mentors
Just like the ambassadors of the Generation Telethon will carry the message of researchers, volunteers or relatives of patients, Garou will be the link between previous mentors, who will be numerous to give an account of their previous Telethon experiences, and the new generation of artists supporting the event!

The singer from Quebec, who already stood by families and researchers for the Telethon in 2014, is once again going to put his talents into the fight against rare genetic diseases. A cause that is close to his heart for he accepted in 2015 to foster I-Motion, the brand new institute co-created by the AFM-Téléthon dedicated to advanced therapy clinical trials for children and that Garou visited in November 2015.
“When you are the mentor of the Telethon once, you are one forever. It’s true, when you’ve experienced it, you belong to this great family forever, because this is it, it’s a great chance we have to give, to get involved to this great, cheerful event,” he had emphasised.
Finally, this year, AFM-Téléthon along with France Télévisions is proud to have him by their sides once again as mentor of the Telethon.
