The 21st International Congress of the World Muscle Society was held from 4 to 8 October in Granada, Spain. This conference is an opportunity to bring together researchers, clinicians and neuropathologists worldwide and to take stock of the latest advances in myology on an international scale.
On this occasion, prizes were awarded to researchers for their work in myology. Among them, five researchers from the Institute of Myology were commended for their work:
- Leandro Ladislau (Olivier Benveniste’s team), Main Elsevier Prize, best poster or oral presentation
- Andreea Seferian (Laurent Servaisâ team), Elsevier Runner-up Prize, best poster presentation
- MĂ©lanie Annoussamy (Laurent Servaisâ team), Elsevier Runner-up Prize, best poster presentation
- Louiza Arouche-Delaperche (Olivier Benvenisteâs team), Elsevier Runner-up Prize, best poster presentation
- Teresa Gidaro (Laurent Servaisâ team), selected for an oral communication in the plenary session
