Gender equality index

The law of 5 September 2018 “for the freedom to choose one’s professional future” aims to reduce inequalities between men and women. In particular, it provides for the introduction of a Professional Gender Equality Index.

Composed of several indicators forming a total score out of 100, this index makes it possible to evaluate the situation between women and men within the structure. The calculation of this index results in an overall score out of 100.

If the result is less than 75 points out of 100, the organisation must take measures to correct the situation or face a financial penalty. If the result is less than 85 points out of 100, improvement targets must be set.

The overall score obtained by the Association Institute of Myology for 2022 is 94/100 and is distributed as follows:

  • Indicator 1: Average pay gap between men and women
    AIM score: 39/40
  • Indicator 2: Gender gap in the rate of individual salary increases
    AIM score: 35/35
  • Indicator 3: Percentage of employees who received an increase within one year of returning from maternity or adoption leave
    AIM score: 15/15
  • Indicator 4: Number of employees of the under-represented gender among the ten highest paid employees
    AIM score: 5/10
  • Index : 94/100
