The child must be able to walk independently of a third person but is allowed to use aids.<\/p>\n<h2>4 Stair Climb test<\/h2>\n<p>The timed 4-stair climb test is used to measure motor function in boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.<\/p>\n<h2>Rise from Floor test<\/h2>\n<p>By measuring the time to stand from supine position on the floor makes it possible to assess the extent of the deficit in the pelvic girdle (mainly the gluteal muscles) in children with motor impairment.<\/p>\n<h2>The \u00ab\u00a0timed Up and Go\u00a0\u00bb test<\/h2>\n<p>The <b>\u00ab\u00a0<\/b>Timed Up and Go\u00a0\u00bb (TUG) test helps to assess balance, muscle strength of the lower limbs and walking speed. It consists of several sequential steps: the child begins in a sitting position on a chair, then must stand up, walk a distance of three meters, turn around to return to the chair and sit down again.<\/p>\n<h2>The\u00a0\u00ab\u00a030 seconds sit to stand\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0test<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>\u00ab\u00a0<\/b>30 Seconds Sit to Stand \u00bb\u00a0test consists of measuring the number of stands from a sitting position that a person can perform in 30 seconds. The choice is to evaluate the number of stands possible, rather than the time required to complete a predetermined number of repetitions.
