Physiotherapist position

Since its creation in 1996, the goal of the Institute of Myology is to promote the existence and recognition of myology by being a center of expertise dedicated to muscle. Its activity comes from the diagnosis, management and follow-up of neuromuscular patients, but also includes an applied and fundamental clinical research platform.

Within the Institute of Myology, I-Motion Institute is responsible for the organization and execution of clinical research protocols in childhood myopathies. This priority axis of research is justified by the need to bring innovative therapeutics stemming from pre-clinical research into human clinical studies and to precisely evaluate the results. The institute is looking for a Physiotherapist.

Missions

✧ Headed by the medical manager, you will have for main mission the evaluation of the neuromuscular function within the framework of the protocols of research and the follow-up of children suffering from neuromuscular diseases. As such, you will be responsible for performing the tests to evaluate the neuromuscular function in accordance with the established procedures and to assist in the preparation of documents and material for the visits (assessment sheets, files), the organization planning, the validation of the results and information of the data sheets, the transmission of the reports.

✧ On the other hand, you will participate in the design, development and implementation of new tests and contribute to the design and writing of protocols.

✧ You will also participate in data analysis, interpretation, report and articles writing.

✧ You may also have an evaluator training activity from other clinical investigation centers according to established procedures.

Profile

✧ Bac +3 State diploma of physiotherapist.
✧ Rigorous, autonomous, you have the team spirit and are endowed with an excellent relationship.
✧ You have a good practice of oral and written English.

 

This position, based at the I-Motion Institute (Trousseau Hospital, Paris 12th) is to be filled on fixed term as soon as possible.
