
Organised by the AFM in Nantes from 9 to 13 May 2005, the international scientific congress “Myology 2005” brought together about 1000 scientists and muscle disease specialists. The aim of the congress was to give participants the opportunity to share information about the considerable advances made in recent years in functional genomics and muscle system physiology and biology as well as about the development of innovative therapies for neuromuscular diseases.
Myology 2005 in figures :
- nearly 1000 participants including ;
- around 30% non-French;
- 84 speakers (48 French, 20 Americans,
- 2 Canadians, 11 Europeans, 2 Israelis, 1 Australian);
- approximately 400 scientific posters displayed.
