Dr. David Sassoon’s research group in France has now gained official recognition, being linked to INSERM, the University of Paris VI and the Institute of Myology. Dr. David Sasson arrived in Paris last year from the Mount Sinai school of Medicine in New York as one of the ‘elite foreign research scientists’ selected by the French Ministry of Research to reinforce France’s potential of innovative research on an international level
He now directs the newly created INSERM unit, UMR S 787-Groupe Myologie, at the Pitié Salpêtrière Medical School which is comprised of 5 groups:
