A research scientist/faculty position is available at the McColl-Lockwood Laboratory for Muscular Dystrophy Research at the Carolinas Neuromuscular / ALS Center, Cannon Research Center, Charlotte, NC. The position provides high rewards, long term career opportunity andindependent research programs.
The position is to investigate new experimental therapies for the treatment of Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD) and other forms of Muscular Dystrophy. The areas include viral and non-viral gene therapy and gene correction. The aim of the program is to improve and apply experimental therapies to clinical trials.
